<p> Adding fun to one’s hierarchy of life doesn’t mean one has to be irresponsible, nor that one’s security need be threatened. It is just likely to make one’s responsibility and security more comfortable and enjoyable. <p> So unless a quiet amble down your street is full of new excitement and interest then it probably doesn’t count for exercise on a regular basis – unless of course you decide to focus on any little change and make that a positive focus for your trip.</p>
<p> You see there are two things that should be happening when you exercise. And the second is the change of focus. <p> There will be some people with severe anxiety for whom joining a group will be too much for them. For them I would suggest scaling it down. They might not yet be ready to join a formal group but attending a group that meets only once and doesn’t require anything but attendance and walking might be possible. A local example would be learning about the local plants in the botanical gardens where volunteers take interested public to show off the important work they are doing.</p>
